Laboratory Testing

Better decisions start with better information.

Laboratory testing is an important component of the Biomarker Assessment & Personalized Protocol. The objective is simple: establish objective baseline information that can be considered alongside your goals, lifestyle, nutrition, training, recovery, current supplement strategy, progress and other relevant information.

Your biomarkers don't exist in isolation.

Objective laboratory information is used for educational and coaching context. It helps establish where you are and what deserves attention next. Drop Protocol & Vitality does not diagnose disease, provide medical treatment, prescribe medication, replace medical care, or use laboratory testing to make medical diagnoses. Laboratory information is used within the scope of coaching and education.

Required testing vs. recommended provider

The Drop Protocol Baseline biomarker requirements are required for a comprehensive Biomarker Assessment & Personalized Protocol. Goodlabs is the preferred, recommended ordering pathway, but it is not mandatory. You may provide recent results from another legitimate laboratory or provider if those results contain the required baseline biomarkers and are sufficiently current for the assessment.

Laboratory testing is purchased separately. It is not included in the $350 Biomarker Assessment & Personalized Protocol, the $450/month Personalized Coaching, or the $350 Quarterly Biomarker Reassessment & Protocol Update.

Choose Your Laboratory Path

Select a laboratory path above to see the required Baseline Panel and the optional Advanced Panel for that pathway.

Laboratory testing is ordered and purchased separately through Goodlabs, an independent third-party laboratory testing platform. Goodlabs pricing, availability, laboratory locations, testing requirements and other terms are controlled by Goodlabs and may change independently of Drop Protocol & Vitality.

Already have recent labs?

You may not need to repeat laboratory testing if your existing results are sufficiently current and contain the required baseline biomarkers. Every submitted result set is reviewed by your coach before your assessment begins.

You may be able to use them instead of repeating the entire Baseline Panel. Compare your results with the requirements below and securely upload your report for review.

Submitting existing laboratory results does not automatically mean the baseline requirement has been met. Drop Protocol will review your submitted results and let you know whether additional testing is needed.

Calculated or derived values that normally accompany an underlying laboratory test do not necessarily require a separate laboratory order. The objective is equivalent baseline coverage, not purchasing every displayed biomarker individually.

Human review required. This checklist is informational and does not automatically determine whether your results satisfy Drop Protocol requirements. Every uploaded report is reviewed before being marked Baseline Requirements Met or Additional Testing Needed.

Additional Testing

In some circumstances, additional biomarkers may provide useful context beyond the Baseline or Advanced Panel. If additional testing appears appropriate based on your intake, existing laboratory results or assessment, it can be discussed individually.

Continuing beyond a three-month coaching cycle

Before continuing coaching into another three-month coaching cycle, updated laboratory testing and the $350 Quarterly Biomarker Reassessment & Protocol Update are required. The Baseline requirements remain the minimum for quarterly testing unless different testing is specifically requested for your individual situation. Laboratory testing remains purchased separately.
